The Commission Process
1. Initial Chat
We'll discuss your space, your style, and what you hope the artwork will bring to your home. This can be at your home if you live in London, otherwise via video call, or through email, whatever you prefer.
2. Space Assessment
I'll ask for photos of your room and discuss the lighting, existing colours, and how you use the space. This helps ensure the finished piece works perfectly in your environment.
3. Concept Development
I will create sketches and colour swatches to establish the foundation and colour direction, leaving room for the intuitive discoveries that happen on canvas.
This approach ensures we're aligned on your vision whilst preserving the spontaneous creative process that makes each painting unique. Colours can be pre-selected, but compositions evolve more intuitively. This flexibility is essential in capturing the authentic flow and movement that defines my work.
4. Creation Updates
I'll share progress photos so you can watch your painting come to life. It's exciting to see your unique artwork developing!
5. Completion & Delivery
Once finished, if you live in London, I will personally hand-deliver the painting to your home at no additional cost.
If you live outside London, a specialist courier will need to be hired to deliver the painting(s). This will be an additional cost and will be discussed with you before you commit to the commission.
