Returns & Refunds Policy
Original Paintings (Purchased Online)
I want you to absolutely love your artwork! If for any reason you're not completely satisfied with an original painting purchased online, you may return it within 14 days of delivery.
How to start a return:
Email me at hello@annettepriceart.com with:
- Painting title
- Order number
- Reason for return
Please contact me before sending anything back so that I can confirm the return address and let you know I'm expecting it (I don't want your painting to be returned while I'm away for example).
Return requirements:
- The painting must be in its original condition and packaging, undamaged and ready for resale
- You're responsible for return postage, please use a tracked, insured service as I can't accept responsibility for items lost or damaged in transit
Once I receive and inspect your painting, I'll issue a refund to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
In-Person Purchases
Original artworks purchased in person at art fairs, exhibitions, or studio visits are final sales and cannot be returned or refunded unless we agree otherwise in writing at the time of purchase.
Commission Cancellations & Returns
Before work begins:
If you need to cancel your commission before I've started painting, I'll refund your deposit in full.
After work has begun:
You can still cancel, but I'll deduct the cost of any special materials purchased specifically for your commission such as real gold-leaf and large canvases over 1 x 1 meter sq from your deposit refund.
After delivery:
If the finished artwork does not resonate with you, you can return it to me within 14 days. You'll receive a full refund minus:
- Any special materials costs such as real gold-leaf, large canvases (over 1 x 1 meter sq).
- The delivery cost to get it to you
- Return delivery (your responsibility)
The returned artwork will then join my collection and be offered for sale.
Payment terms: Commissions require a 50% deposit to begin work, with the remaining 50% due upon delivery.
Prints & Merchandise
Limited edition prints and merchandise (mugs, tote bags, etc.) are made to order and sent to print when you place your order. For this reason, I can't accept returns or offer refunds on these items unless they arrive damaged or faulty.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If something arrives damaged, faulty, or doesn't match your order, please contact me at hello@annettepriceart.com within 14 days of delivery. Here's what I'll need depending on what you've received:
Original paintings:
Contact me before returning. I'll need the painting back in its original packaging so I can inspect it and arrange a replacement or refund.
Limited edition prints:
Send me photos of the damage first. If we agree on a replacement, I'll ask you to send photos or a video of the print being destroyed (this is because they are numbered), then I will send your replacement or refund.
Merchandise (mugs, tote bags, etc.):
A photograph of the damaged item and its packaging is all I need, then I'll arrange a replacement or refund.
In All Cases:
In all cases of faulty or incorrect items, return postage is on me and I'll get a replacement to you as quickly as possible. If a replacement is not available, I'll issue a full refund.
Please note: My warranty covers the replacement cost of the item only and does not extend to consequential losses or out-of-pocket expenses.
