The ARTIST SUPPORT PLEDGE (ASP) is open to artists and makers anywhere in the world.

The idea is simple. Artists post images of their work on Instagram for £220 or less, using the hashtag #artistsupportpledge. Once a participating artist has sold £1100 worth of paintings, they pledge to spend at least £220 on other artists' work. So artists are supporting each other.

Anyone can buy the paintings (not just artists) and all artists can participate.

The Artists Support Pledge was created in 2020 by Matthew Burrows MBE, a contemporary British painter, who wanted to help artists survive during the pandemic and it's needed just as much now.
