About the painting
Summer Breeze was inspired by thoughts of a summer day at the beach, sand between my toes, rock pools to explore and evokes a sense of summer’s optimism and fun. I painted it using pallet knives, to create movement and energy, as though a gentle gust of warm wind is blowing across the canvas.
