Water is my favourite theme while painting. As these are abstracts I'm not trying to create an objective representation of water, but in this painting memories of kayaking over deep water influenced the colours chosen and the pallet knife strokes.  I have embedded a few small but colourful glass stones too, which sparkle as you look at the painting from different angles :-)
