Come and See My Paintings at Parallax Art Fair, Chelsea, 23 to 25 October

Some paintings are happy to be looked at on a screen. Mine, I'm afraid, are a bit uncooperative! The metal leaf flashes as you walk past and then goes quiet. And the texture only really makes sense when you can see the little shadows it throws. So I'm delighted to say I'll be showing a small group of paintings at Parallax Art Fair this October, at Chelsea Old Town Hall on the King's Road.
Why I keep coming back to Parallax
Parallax is a big, lively fair for independent artists and makers: painting, drawing, ceramics, jewellery and plenty more, all under one wonderfully grand roof. I've exhibited there twice before, when it was held at Kensington Town Hall. Each time I came away with new conversations and new friends, and some of my paintings have since gone to homes belonging to people I first met there. It's the kind of fair where you can take your time, ask questions and actually talk to the person who made the work.
What I'll be bringing

Five of my water-inspired paintings, layered with texture and metal leaf. If you've had your eye on a painting here on the website, this is a lovely chance to see it in person before you decide.
And if you're thinking about a commission for your home or workplace, do come and chat. Seeing the scale and surface up close makes it much easier to imagine what might work on your own wall.
