This series of paintings is a work in progress, inspired by the quiet, meandering flow of water through British woodlands and forests.

I find exploring forests is always a joyful and uplifting experience. Filled with the crisp scent of damp leaves, the soft rustling of branches, and the gentle murmur of water weaving its way through the landscape. Streams carve winding paths through the undergrowth, fish hiding in the shadows. Pools and ponds reflecting the shifting canopy above, while slow-moving rivers gather the woodland’s colours, blending earth, foliage, and sky.
