Inspiration
My inspiration was summer, relaxing by water while surrounded with wild flowers, dappled sun, bird song and a gentle breeze. What could be more lovely or more inspiring to paint?
I used pallet knives to slide wet paint over wet paint, building layers and drawing in marks and lines. I love the colours and summery feel of this painting.
