 About the painting

Journey to the Bright Side was painted as the world was recovering from Covid and life was kind of returning to normality, at least in the UK. At the time I created a series of paintings inspired by past and present journeys to places and landscapes that made my heart sing - which in my case - is anywhere where there's water; rivers, seas, lakes and streams, I love to swim, kayak and stroll beside them. This painting is a celebration of a return to doing the things we love once again and was inspired by a visit to the coast and the interaction of land and water. It was painted with pallet knives and acrylic paints.

Buying original art

Caring for your painting

This painting has been given two coats of varnish to protect it from environmental pollutants, UV light and to make cleaning dust off it easier. But, just like any piece of fine art, do not display or store your painting in direct sunlight or in a damp environment because this will harm it.
