Here is the second little painting on the theme of woodlands.

It is so easy to overlook the beauty of the natural world with much of our time often spent working and playing indoors with our tech. So I got outdoors and collected leaves and I wanted this painting to capture the atmosphere of being in that wonderful space.

I guess this painting is more semi-abstract as it's very obvious where I'm pulling my inspiration from. But there is still abstraction, room for your interpretation; are you looking up through the undergrowth towards a misty sunrise? Or looking down on a watery reflection?
