Autumn in Flight

Mixed media;

  • Acrylic paints
  • Fern leaves
  • Sand
  • Wood base approx. 13cm x 25cm 

Inspiration:

This painting I created back in the autumn on a warm sunny afternoon, after walking through woodlands with a low sun filtering through the trees and undergrowth.  I loved the colours and the light which inspired this painting. 

I had collected sand locally and mixed some in with this painting to create more texture and depth.
